The Fairy Trinity will encourage the parents to share with us how were the children behaving during the year and if they deserve reward or “reward”. There will be lots of activities and playful contests and lots of nice prizes for performing children. The Mikulas, himself, will direct all participants and His helpers will ‘encourage’ the kids to take part in.

If you can, please bring a raffle prize.  You will have one ticket for free and you
will add to the fun. Raffle tickets are $1/ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.

Please plan to join us for this very special Sunday in December.

We will also be celebrating, tigether, the 50+ years of our Czech - Slovak Club and announce changes planned for the future which will involve moving to a much less structured yearly program with fewer get-togethers, probably at different venues.

Old Town Square in Prague
One of the features of Old Town Square is the Astronomical Clock.

The Town Hall acquired its first clock at the beginning of 15th century, when it was rebuilt by a master clockmaker called Hanus. He was blinded by the local councilors, in order to prevent him from making a reproduction of the clock elsewhere. It has been repaired many times over the years.  The  current mechanism of the clock was perfected by Jan Taborsky between 1552-1572.

In Czech Republic, St. Nicholas is called Svaty Mikalas and is believed to climb to earth down from heaven on a golden rope along with his companions: an angel and a whip-carrying devil.

They will be visiting us on December 12 - You won't want to miss it!
