This cookbook is now in its third printing. Recipes and other information in the book were provided by Club members. The Introduction states in part:
"We are sure you will be pleased with the many specialized and cherished recipes - many of which have been handed down from generation to generation and are a credit and a vital part of the OLD WORLD tradition that is being kept alive today through FOLKLORE and FOODLORE.
These recipes express deep love of home and cooking, and the culinary skills are evident in these recipes."
In addition to a wealth of traditional recipes, there is a great deal of information about the Czech and Slovak ways of life, customs and traditions, humor, Christmas and Easter traditions, and a glossary of Czech-Slovak food and cooking terms.
The book is softcover and contains 64 pages.
